PlayStation anunció que renovaría su servicio de PlayStation Plus, con un modelo de suscripción que fucionaría lo que hasta ahora se conoce como PlayStation Now y PlayStation Plus en un solo servicio.
Dentro de este servicio se incluirán, también juegos de PS3, PS2 y PS1, y aunque los juegos de PS3 funcionarán con un servicio de juego por streaming desde la nube, los juegos de PS2 y PS1 podrán descargarse en la consola.

También habrá la posibilidad de jugar varios títulos de PlayStation desde una PC mediante juego en la nube.
La nueva etapa de este servicio, tal como se había anunciado, incluirá tres niveles o planes a diferentes precios: PlayStation Plus Essential, que ofrece dos juegos de PS4 o PS5 descargables al mes; PlayStation Plus Extra, que ofrecerá una biblioteca de cerca de 400 juegos de PS4 y PS5; y PlayStation Plus Premium, que incluirá juegos de PS3 (vía juego en la nube), PS2 y PS1.
También existe un nivel denominado PlayStation Plus Deluxe, que ofrece lo mismo que el plan Premium, pero sin juego en la nube (es decir, sin juegos de PS3).
En un inicio, PlayStation indicó que se incluirán en su servicio títulos como Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11 y Returnal.
Ahora, PlayStation ha entregado nueva información respecto a la alineación inicial de juegos que se incluirá en el servicio de suscripción.

Piensa en esto como demos extendidas; esto te dará la posibilidad de jugar a tus juegos favoritos por un periodo superior al de una demo tradicional, para probarlos antes de comprarlos. Esto tedará más elementos de juicio para que tomes una decisión sobre lo que quieres y no quieres comprar.
